Troubleshooting

"Slave string faulty"

Data transmission error

between a slave and the mas-

Data connecting cable

If the error continues to occur,

check the connecting cable

between all devices.

"Wrong number of slaves"

During the master timeout, the

master receives more or fewer

reading results from the slaves

than expected from the num-

ber of slaves that the master

has entered.

The parameterized number of

slaves does not match the ac-

tual number of slaves connect-

Timeout for the master is too

short

•

The data connection between

the slaves has been interrupt-

ed.

Check the entered number of

slaves.

To do so, upload from the CLV

using the "CLV-Setup" pro-

gram, choose the D

switching input

Correct the settings on the

CONFIGURATION

and

INTERFACE

tabs in the "CLV-

Setup" program.

Download any changes to the

CLV!
